For as far back as I can remember, I wanted to become a criminal attorney. I attended the University of Miami where I received my bachelor's degree and majored in both criminology and psychology, and graduated cum laude in 2004. Following graduation I pursued my dream and attended law school at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. I was the bilingual editor and executive board member of the ILSA International and Comparative Law Review. I oversaw and guided a team as they translated and edited various legal articles prior to being published. I had the privilege of being awarded the Rebecca Knox Fellowship and the Public Service Interest Fellowship. Through my fellowships, I worked at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida where I learned the importance of serving my community and greatly enjoyed helping those in need of legal services. During my fellowships, I focused on divorce, parenting plans, child support, restraining orders and various other family-related legal issues. After my graduation from law school and passing the bar, I became a prosecutor for the state attorney's office of Broward County. After three years of working as a prosecutor, I learned how important it is to protect the rights of the accused and decided to shift my focus from criminal prosecution to criminal defense and joined Solaris Law Group, P.A. You can rest assured knowing I have your best interests in mind and, with my experience of the criminal justice system as an advantage, I can do what is needed to obtain the best results for your case.
